About me

Hello and welcome! My name is Alexis Gerstenkorn. I'm a Recent Graduate with an English Major in the Writing and Rhetoric track from Florida International University (FIU). The article you're reading today was a part of my final project, Analyzing the effects that newer forms of Media have/ are having on the publishing Industry. I have always wanted to work with a big publishing house  and hopefully even as a writer publishing my own work, but with the rise of social media and other major forms of media there are some who worry for the future of the industry. I thought this project would be an excellent opportunity to examine how the industry has adapted to these changes so far and  how they may continue to adapt.
